Al DoylePartner, Creative Director

Al Doyle is a writer, strategist, creative director and marketing director specializing in marketing and sales of large-scale residential communities, mixed-use master plans, resort communities, sustainable development and apartment communities.

Over the past decades, Al’s team contributed to the branding and marketing for a number successful homebuilding companies, including Bennett Homes, The Burnsteads, Northward, SDC, Oakpointe, Rudd, Legacy Homes and many others.

Branding and Marketing

In the last few years, Al’s Fusion team has done the branding and marketing for over 35 new apartment communities in several states, as well as participated in the re-branding of client acquired properties.

Large Master Planned Community projects have included Issaquah Highland (Issaquah, WA), Oyhut Bay (Ocean Shores. WA, Snoqualmie Ridge (Snoqualmie), WA), McCormick Woods (Kitsap, County, WA), Mill Creek, (Mill Creek, WA), Orenco Station (Hillsboro, OR) and Riverside (Sacramento,CA)

His innovative and compelling marketing approaches for new urban communities, apartment and condominium communities have made him one of the New Home Industry’s most awarded creative directors. Al challenges the norms and the status quo of the New Home Industry, helping homebuilders market and communicate with passion and credibility.

Al digs deep to understand the needs of his clients, working with the design, development and marketing teams to help them tell a compelling story that will connect with prospective buyers.

He provides hands-on creative direction and supervision of graphic design, sales office design, signage programs, model home complexes,  and the creation of all marketing materials.

Al is also an accomplished advertising copywriter with an extensive portfolio of websites and Social media, video, television, radio, print and collateral work.

Kate QuinnPartner, Director of Logistics

Kate Quinn manages all production, media, and scheduling related issues on behalf of Fusion;s clients. Using over two decades experience in the high-volume field of direct marketing, Kate brings contacts, experience, and judgment to each project she supervises. Kate designs scheduling, job-tracking and reporting systems tailored to the needs of the stakeholders of all projects. Kate’s systems allow all parties to keep up-to-date on the progress of each part of a plan. Her in-depth experience in the fields of print management and signage system/display management will come into play in the strategic phases of the project. Kate contributes heavily to the strategic planning by helping the team define communications, branding and marketing tools that are efficient to produce. This results in more impact for each dollar spent.

Kate knows how to get the tough jobs done. She’s part cheerleader, part ruthless taskmaster and ALWAYS looking for a better way to produce a job or save our client money. Kate has over 20 years experience in the advertising and direct mail industries and is conversant with all forms of production from the printed piece to websites and three-dimensional displays. She also brings considerable media and strategic planning skills to the table.

Steve HardinDirector of Design & Interactive Media

Artist, musician, and thinker.

Steve leads Fusion’s website design and graphic design teams. He consistently pushes Fusion’s creative work to new heights. Steve brings a unique and vital point of view to the creation of  Fusion websites, adding new levels of ease—making sites easy for users to navigate and intuitive for our clients to manage.

Steve understands the psyche of the homebuyer and apartment renter and can speak their language, no matter what their age or demographic profile. His refined design skills and sophisticated hand with typography lead to practical and appealing marketing communications tools.

Steve’s background as a professional musician and accomplished performer provides a fitting background when directing and editing videos and other presentation materials for Fusion clients.

In the past few years, Steve has created over 100 logos and 40 website designs for Fusion clients.

William Victor MayDirector of Client Services

William May has built his career as a practitioner of entrepreneurship. He serves as both a principal of his own growth company and as a counselor to others he serves as a consultant.

Beginning from the foundations of a Seattle-based advertising agency, May Partners, Bill has grown his businesses and spread his influence through tireless service and care for the people around him.  Following the sale of his first company to his employees, Bill embarked on a three-decade career as a business broker and advisor, helping other entrepreneurs find a path to growth and personal success. Most recently Bill launched Vortex Management, a company that touches all facets of the Vacation Rental business from on-line bookings to hands-on property management.

Bill leads the team that helps FUSION define the marketing and communication needs of our clients as well as directing their path to continued success.

Bruce WoodstromTexas and Southwest Markets, Partner, Arizona and Southwest

Bruce relentlessly pursues creative solutions using every tool and talent he can muster. Bruce’s years in advertising include extensive experience representing retail banking, restaurant, retail, financial and real estate clients.

From the beginning of his career, Bruce was drawn to the new home industry.  Over the years he has worked with the largest and some of the smallest homebuilders in the Northwest, creating break-through marketing campaigns and raising the bar for our region.

Penny L TaylorStrategic Consultant

Penny Taylor is a seasoned manager with a highly successful career in the fields of mass media, cable advertising, and the vacation hospitality industries. She brings over 30 years of hands-on experience recruiting, building and managing sales and marketing teams, and leading start-up companies to exceptional growth.  Among companies she has served are AT&T Media Services, Viacom’s NW Cable Services and NW Cable Sports, KRPM AM & FM, and Gaylord’s KSTW TV Channel 11.


Currently, she serves as co-founder of the Vortex Organization, a fast growing network of Internet Vacation Rental Managers. Penny has also served on the boards of Childhaven, Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Ad Federation, Bavarian Soap, Plumbob Publishing, Stewart Street Corporation, and Sunspot Resorts.


Penny consults with FUSION clients in matters of sales, marketing, growth, and hiring strategies.

JOHN McINTYREGraphic Designer

John brings a background and formal training in graphic design and commercial photography as be tackles his FUSION work, assisting clients to maximize their impact on the Internet. John has an instinct for creating compelling communication and an innate curiosity that helps him advise FUSION clients on to how best present their marketing messages.


We have been working with Fusion for five years and have truly enjoyed our relationship.
